The White Hart Hotel is a 14th Century building located within the medieval City of Lincoln. The building is Grade 2 Listed and therefore subject to a range of Heritage and other associated guidelines.
Due to the historic nature of the building, access in some areas is restricted due to the various changes of floor levels and the number of steps involved. Therefore, certain areas of the Hotel are currently inaccessible to those who require a step-free environment.
The Hotel does have a lift to the upper floors and to the roof terrace but due to the size of the lift itself, and the fact that access to that lift is via three steps down from the ground floor level into a corridor, it is only suitable for semi-ambulant disabled guests. All the bedrooms are on the upper floors and many are extremely spacious but again, are only suitable for those who are able to move around without the aid of a wheelchair.
The management and staff are keen to help overcome some of the internal barriers and with the use of a non-permanent ramp; wheelchair access can be achieved throughout the various ground floor levels of the Hotel. However, this is only a reasonable solution for those using a standard manual wheelchair, i.e. not suitable for those using motorised wheelchairs/scooters etc.

CAR PARKING
We have a limited number of parking spaces available in our Hotel car park which are available via pre-booking only either on-line or via hotel reception. Parking is charged at £15 per night. Spaces are available from 1pm on your arrival date until 12pm on your departure date. This car park can be found within the St Paul’s Lane public car park, post code LN1 3AL. Please ensure you collect a permit from the Hotel Reception and display this on your dashboard at all times.

These car parks and any charges are operated by Lincolnshire County Council. These car parks currently cost £9.80 per 24 hours. If you have any further queries regarding car parking, please contact the hotel directly.
If you have a lot of luggage, or have difficulty in carrying luggage, we would recommend that you off load outside the Hotel, then park your vehicle after unloading. Please note the area outside the Hotel is for ‘off loading’ only and parking is not permitted by the council.
MAIN ENTRANCE
Access into the Hotel is via two single steps and a revolving door. A ‘porterage’ service is available. Various forms of seating can be found just inside the main door.
ENTRANCE LOBBY
As you enter the building the Hotel Bar and lounge in front of you. Access into this area is step-free from this point. A corridor to the left provides level access to the lower level of The Royal Courtyard where there is a wheelchair lift to the upper area of The Royal Courtyard and The King Richard II suite.
RECEPTION
Reception is to the right as you walk in through the front door.
There are various staircases to negotiate depending on the location of the bedroom allocated to you. If you require lift access, please contact the Hotel at least 48 hours prior to your arrival so that the most appropriate room can be allocated to you. We have two lifts in the Hotel which service all parts of the building including the roof terrace.
ANTLERS RESTAURANT & BAR
Antlers Restaurant is accessed down three steps from the hotel reception and then there are a further three steps down into the main seating area of the Restaurant. The restaurant is well laid out in a contemporary style. There is step free access directly from street level from Bailgate.
Our menus detail allergen advice against each item. If a member of your party suffers from a particular allergy and you believe that we may be able to carry out actions that may help to reduce the risk of exposure; please speak to the team on arrival to discuss this further. Alternatively, when eating in our restaurant or bar please bring this to our attention before placing your order and we will discuss your requirements at this stage. We regret that we cannot guarantee that any of our standard menu items are free from nuts or nut products.
TOILETS
These are situated on the ground floor off the lounge; including a unisex accessible toilet suitable and a unisex baby changing facilities.
COLONNADE COCKTAIL BAR
The Colonnade is on two levels, the lower level is all on the ground floor, the upper level is up four steps.
From The Colonnade there is access to the King Richard II Suite and the upper part of The Royal Courtyard.
GIBSON CLUB BAR
The Gibson Club Bar is on the ground floor accessed to the left of the main entrance.

LEIGH PEMBERTON HOUSE
The four bedrooms at Leigh Pemberton House are accesses externally from the hotel, in a 16th Century Tudor property, a short walk across the road from the hotel. Access to these rooms is via a narrow staircase, with 2 rooms on the first floor and two rooms on the second floor. There is no lift in Leigh Pemberton House.
NO.7 CASTLE HILL
No. 7 Castle Hill is a Georgian, Grade II-listed townhouse accommodating up to eight guests. The ground floor is access by a single step up into the lounge/dining room. The kitchen and cinema room are down steps into the basement. The bedrooms are located on the first and second floors. There is no lift in No 7 Castle Hill.
