The space you need

Our flexible function rooms cater to all wedding styles, from intimate ceremonies to grand receptions. The Royal Courtyard is a light-filled space featuring a stunning glass dome, accommodating up to 100 guests, and can be combined with the King Richard II Suite to host up to 200 for evening celebrations.

The King Richard II Suite itself is a classic venue with elegant oak floors, perfect for receptions of up to 100 guests or larger events when paired with the Royal Courtyard. For a more intimate setting, The Bailgate offers a cozy, romantic option for smaller weddings of up to 40 guests, set against the backdrop of Lincoln’s charming cobbled streets.

From staying in one of our luxury rooms the night before, to reminiscing with friends and family over breakfast the day after, enjoy it all in one location. As part of your wedding package we’ll discuss every aspect of your day, from arrival drinks, to wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, then evening parties and bedrooms for those looking to stay the night.

We have 49 luxurious rooms, including suites, and a historic townhouse with views of Lincoln’s Castle Square.

Our wedding spaces can host a wide range of guest numbers. For a civil ceremony, we’re licensed for up to 100 guests in the Royal Courtyard, and up to 40 guests in the Bailgate Room. For evening receptions, the Royal Courtyard and King Richard II Suite can be combined to welcome up to 200 guests: perfect for a full and celebratory end to your day.

Absolutely. The White Hart holds a wedding licence in both the Royal Courtyard (up to 100 guests) and the Bailgate Room (up to 40 guests), meaning your entire day (ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening party) can take place under one roof. It’s one of the things our couples love most about celebrating here.

We have three beautiful spaces to choose from. The Royal Courtyard is a stunning light-filled room with a glass dome, ideal for ceremonies and receptions of up to 100 guests. The King Richard II Suite is a classic, oak-floored space with a grand atmosphere, accommodating up to 100 guests, or up to 200 when combined with the Royal Courtyard. For something more intimate, the Bailgate Room is a romantic and characterful setting for smaller weddings of up to 40 guests.

You do. From your first enquiry right through to the day itself, your coordinator is there to manage the details so you don’t have to. They’ll guide you through everything, at whatever pace suits you.

Our chefs put together bespoke menus using Lincolnshire ingredients. Most packages include arrival drinks, canapés, a wedding breakfast and an evening spread, but we’re happy to shape the menu around what you want. Every couple gets a complimentary tasting before the day too, so nothing is left to chance.

Of course. We have 49 bedrooms, including suites and a townhouse with views over Castle Square. Many couples book a block of rooms for family and friends, making the celebration stretch naturally from the night before to breakfast the next morning.

We can’t host outdoor ceremonies at present, but we do have a wonderful terrace rooftop for photography. Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle are also just a short walk from the door. Both make for genuinely impressive backdrops, and our team can point you in the right direction on the day.

We do, with options to suit different budgets and guest numbers. Off-peak packages start from £4,995 but if you’d rather build something from scratch, we can do that too. Get in touch and we’ll work through the options with you.

We have on-site parking for up to 12 cars. A charge applies, and there are several public car parks close by for guests who need them.
